QR Code Destinations
Destinations define where users go when they scan your QR code.

What is a Destination?
A destination is the target URL or content that users see after scanning. Dynamic QR codes can have multiple destinations, which enables A/B testing and smart routing.
Destination Types
URL Redirect
The most common type. Sends users to any website you specify.
Landing Page
Redirect to a landing page you've built in QR Advanced.
Benefits:
- Full conversion tracking built in
- Form submissions are tracked automatically
- Button clicks are recorded
- Consistent mobile experience
Link directly to a PDF document.
App Link
Smart app links that:
- Open the app if it's installed
- Redirect to the app store if it's not
Multiple Destinations
Pro and Advanced plans support multiple destinations per QR code.
Why Use Multiple Destinations?
- A/B Testing: Split traffic between two versions to see which performs better
- Rules-based routing: Send different users to different pages based on conditions - learn how to set up rules
- Fallback: Have a backup destination if the primary one fails
Setting a Default
One destination must be marked as Default. This destination is used when:
- No routing rules match
- Rules are disabled
- You just need a simple redirect
Managing Destinations
Add a Destination
- Open your QR code
- Go to the Destinations tab
- Click Add Destination
- Enter a name and URL
- Save
Edit a Destination
- Click on the destination card
- Update the URL or name
- Save your changes
Delete a Destination
- Click the menu icon on the destination
- Select Delete
- Confirm the deletion
Note: You cannot delete the default destination if it's the only one.
Destination Analytics
Each destination tracks:
- Total redirects
- Unique visitors
- Conversion events
- Trends over time
