Alert Types Explained

Choose the right alert type for your monitoring needs.

Pro+

Daily Limit Near

Triggers when: You reach 80% of your daily scan limit. See your plan's limits.

Use case: Get early warning before hitting limits.

Configuration:

  • Threshold: Percentage (default 80%)


Daily Limit Reached

Triggers when: You hit 100% of your daily scan limit.

Use case: Know immediately when scans stop being tracked.

Configuration:

  • No threshold needed


Scan Spike (Advanced and Above)

Triggers when: Scans exceed a threshold in a time period.

Use case: Detect viral content, successful campaigns, or potential abuse.

Configuration:

  • Threshold: Number of scans
  • Timeframe: 5min, 15min, 30min, 1h, etc.

Example: Alert when more than 100 scans happen in 5 minutes.



Scan Drop (Advanced and Above)

Triggers when: Scans fall below expected levels.

Use case: Detect broken QR codes, removed materials, or campaign issues.

Configuration:

  • Threshold: Percentage drop
  • Comparison period: Previous day or week

Example: Alert when scans drop 50% compared to yesterday.



No Scans Detected (Advanced and Above)

Triggers when: No scans occur within a time window.

Use case: Monitor active campaigns that should have consistent traffic.

Configuration:

  • Timeframe: How long without scans

Example: Alert if no scans for 24 hours.



New Country Detected (Advanced and Above)

Triggers when: Scans appear from a country not seen before.

Use case: Detect unexpected geographic spread or potential fraud. Learn about geographic analytics.

Configuration:

  • No threshold needed
