Create Your First QR Code
This guide walks you through creating your first dynamic QR code. The whole process takes about two minutes.
Step 1: Start the QR Wizard
- Click QR Codes in the sidebar
- Click the + New QR Code button
- The QR creation wizard opens

Step 2: Choose QR Type
Select the type of QR code you want to create:
- URL: Redirect to any website (this is the most common choice)
- WiFi: Share network credentials so people can connect instantly
- vCard: Share contact information that saves directly to phones
- Text: Display a plain text message
- Email: Open an email composer with pre-filled fields
- Call: Start a phone call to a specific number
- SMS: Open a text message with pre-filled content
For tracking and analytics, choose URL with Dynamic mode enabled. Learn about all QR code types.

Step 3: Enter Content
Based on your QR type, fill in the required information.
For URL QR codes:
- Name: A descriptive name like "Summer Sale Flyer" or "Restaurant Menu"
- Destination URL: The web address where users should land

Step 4: Add Destinations (Dynamic QR)
Dynamic QR codes support multiple destinations, which lets you do A/B testing or set up routing rules. Learn more about destinations.
- Click Add Destination
- Enter a name and URL for each destination
- Mark one destination as Default
- Add more destinations if you want to test different pages

Step 5: Configure Rules (Optional)
Add routing rules to send users to different destinations based on conditions. Learn more about smart routing.
- Time-based: Show different content during business hours vs evenings
- Location: Route by country or region for localized content
- Device: Send mobile users to app stores and desktop users to websites
- Random split: Divide traffic evenly for A/B testing

Step 6: Customize Design
Make your QR code match your brand. See all design options.
- Colors: Set foreground and background colors
- Logo: Add your company logo in the center (available on Pro plans and above)
- Frame: Add a call-to-action frame around the code
- Error correction: Higher levels make the code more resilient to damage

Step 7: Review and Create
Check your settings and click Create QR Code to finish.

- Download it in PNG, SVG, or PDF format
